Critical thinking is not taught in schools

We start teaching you the basics of the Trivium.

If you are challenged with what to think in relation to many current issues and think every one is entitled to their own opinion, you are wrong and need this course.

The course starts with an online lecture.

This is not just an online course. It is an interactive learning experiance that requires committment and enguagment from you. You will need an intennet connection and a connected device. The Device will need a microphone and a web cam. We recommend a head set to avoid anoying feedback. Lessons have intergration exercises with them to deeply learn what you have been taught. You will then have the opportunity to interact with another student online st share what you have learnt. Not only will you get a great understanding of the content but you will be able to share this with (teach) others. You may find that this opens up a new career direction for you.

An aim we have for the course is for studnets to gain at least 10x what they spent on the course within the next 12 months.

Having Critical Thinking Skills can save you $1,000's

You may think you have the ability to think critically, in school it is claimed that they teach it all the time, teachers often teach what they call Critical and Creative Thinking. They are not the same thing.  A way of telling is when you are deciding which side of an argument to choose or what side to vote for are you certain of choice or are you trusting that "the scientists" or another authority has told you the truth?

I enrolled in a Masters of Philosophy and a well known Australian University back in 2011, when I enrolled in  a Critical and Creative Thinking unit I found out that they were teaching was not Critical Thinking at all and that it was not offered as all. I have spent the last 8 years learning what Critical Thinking is and how to teach it. I had a good start with my studies in Physics and Mathematics. Aristotle in his teachings from 360BC in Greece defined a true Education consisted of the Trivium and Quadrivium.  This course will focus on the 1st 2 steps in the Trivium.

A principal I follow is to look at both sides of an argument with this in mind I  enrolled in a free course ah UQ (University of Queensland where did my DipEd in 1979)

   and found a course that was teaching illogical biased thinking processes. 

I have not found any quality courses that specifically teach critical thinking.

This is a skill that is imperative to obtain and thrive in our modern world.
